Limburgs Museum asked Goal043 the question: “How can we make our collection more engaging and meaningful for our audience?”
what we suggested
With an AR (augmented Reality) challenge we give new “live” to the ancient artifacts that are displayed in the glass cases of the museum. We present the artifacts in an animated way with metadata making the experience much more meaningful for the user. After the challenge we present the user a guided VR (Virtual Reality) tour around the remains of the “Mikwe”. We ask the user the question: what do you think the purpose of these remains were back in 1300?
